Following demolition of several old buildings, a new 3-story, wood framed building with 57 apartments was added to the existing complex, along with a 4500 sf mixed use area encompassing exercise room, beauty parlor, laundry, storage, and janitorial.
An older building of 2100 sf was remodeled into a common-use area for a kitchen and dining hall, and another older building was relocated and converted to a 6-plex.
Project required extensive site work, including solving some extremely sensitive drainage issues,and relocating the entire complex's water, sewer and electric service without disrupting current residents.
