A problem in ski country is affordable dwelling for employees. The Grand County Housing Authority arranged for the factory construction of modular units, later assembled on an 11 acre site.
1, 2, and 3 bedroom units, ranging in size from 588 - 896 sqaure feet, in one and two story buildings comprise the project.
The completed project has 64 units and 53,300 sf.
The project included site improvements, such as a large retaining wall and building foundations. Units were transported to the sit, set and stitched together, utility connections were made into each unit. Carpenters added porches. Site landscaping was added.
